Our Faculty and Staff Assistance Programs support an organization and its leadership by helping employees cope with the work and personal life stressors they face so that they can remain focused, engaged, and highly productive.
Our approach is hands-on, and we have come to intimately understand higher education. We understand the nuances between the parallel policies that govern faculty and staff. We also understand the stressors of academic life.
We offer a variety of support and services designed to better manage this balance, and we provide the tools needed to reduce workplace stress, including:
Personalized WorkLife Services: No-cost personalized consultations and referrals for a wide range of daily needs, including financial or legal consultation referrals, child care referrals, elder care referrals, and more.
Coaching and Counseling Services: Private and confidential in-person and telephonic coaching and counseling for faculty, staff, and their household members. Our clinicians are all doctorate- or master’s-level trained, with broad experience in counseling, mental health, and addiction issues.
Management Consultation: Deans, managers, and supervisors can contact Life Solutions to receive management consultation services regarding challenging workplace issues. We will answer questions about how to safely and tactfully approach a troubled employee or sensitive situation.
