Employee Assistance Affiliate Provider Network

WorkPartners’ Life Solutions EAP contracts with licensed counselors familiar with EAP core technologies to provide best-in-practice service delivery to our employee clients at a location convenient to where they work or live. We are now recruiting affiliate providers from across the country.

WorkPartners is seeking qualified provider partners to ensure injured employees receive the best, most appropriate treatment. We are looking to partner with providers who strive for excellent clinical outcomes and who practice with a safe and efficient return-to-work philosophy. Currently we are only recruiting providers in the state of Pennsylvania.

How to Join Our Workers’ Compensation Network

WorkPartners’ Workers’ Compensation Network providers must submit an application through the UPMC Health Plan provider network process. Submission of your request does not guarantee your network participation. Neither UPMC Health Plan nor its representatives make any guarantee, expressed or implied, that receipt of this request signifies acceptance into the UPMC Health Plan or WorkPartners network of providers. The team will review your request and ensure you meet initial participation criteria. If your participation request is approved, you will receive an application packet.

*Board certification is not required for physicians who have been out of training for less than five years or for optometrists. We accept the following boards:

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check the status of my application?
For Employee Assistance, call Life Solutions at 1-800-647-3327.
For Workers’ Compensation, call 412-667-7103.
When working with clients, how much paperwork is required?
For employee assistance, Life Solutions strives to keep paperwork to a minimum. You will be asked to submit Case Opening, SPS-6, Case Closing, and Reimbursement forms at the completion of each care episode.
For Workers' Compensation paperwork is kept to a minimum. We require the work status form within 24 to 48 hours of the appointment and office notes as soon as possible to evaluate the claim.
What are your reimbursement rates?
The fees that Life Solutions pays to affiliate providers are based on the market rate, which varies by area. Session reimbursement fees will be specified in your affiliate provider contract.
The fees that are paid to Workers’ Compensation providers are based on the prevailing market rate and are established within the provider contract.
How quickly will I be reimbursed?
Employee Assistance affiliate providers are paid every two weeks.
Workers’ Compensation providers are reimbursed within 30 days of submission of a clean claim.
Whom should I call if I have questions on a client case?
EAP providers should call the Life Solutions National Service Center at 1-800-647-3327 and speak to an experienced Care Manager to discuss the case. We also have a confidential after-hours voice mailbox where you can leave a message and receive a callback the next business day.
Workers’ Compensation providers should call 412-667-7139 with questions on a client case.
