WorkPartners Names Jeffrey Swaney Vice President of Workers’ Compensation

Jeffrey Swaney was recently named vice president of workers’ compensation for WorkPartners.

PITTSBURGH (June 26, 2017) – Jeffrey Swaney has been named vice president of workers’ compensation for WorkPartners.

Swaney has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience and will lead the filing, compliance, and underwriting strategies for WorkPartners’ workers’ compensation products. He will spearhead WorkPartners’ efforts to grow new business opportunities and support the marketing efforts to acquire new customers.

“Jeff’s extensive background and proven track record as an expert in workers’ compensation will be invaluable to our clients,” said David Weir, president of WorkPartners. “WorkPartners’ overall suite of services has grown to 38 states across the U.S. in areas that include absence management, short-term disability, and other health and productivity workplace solutions. We look forward to working with Jeff and continually expanding our client base.”

Prior to joining WorkPartners, Swaney was responsible for the development, profitability, and growth of the Midwest region as senior vice president at PMA Companies, a property and casualty insurance company based in Blue Bell, Pa., that specializes in workers’ compensation.

Throughout his career, Swaney has taken on ever-increasing leadership roles for a variety of insurance carriers.

Swaney earned a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration from West Virginia University as well as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) accreditation from the Insurance Institute of America.
