Focusing on the CareGiver
In 2020, 48 million adults in the U.S. cared for someone over the age of 18. About 20 percent of those people provided care without pay. This presentation will focus on the tasks of a caregiver. You will learn about the impact of caregiving on the individual and on employment. We’ll also discuss the toll caregiving can take on a person’s physical and mental health and outline the warning signs of stress and burnout, then provide resources caregivers can use to take care of themselves.
